O noble Shaykh, Ahasan Allaahu ilayka wa baraka feeka, there is an issue that I would like to be clarified and explained so that it would be as clear as the sun in the sky: There is a group of Salafee brothers that categorize the Salafees into two groups: Clear and unclear Salafees for a number of reasons.
Is this categorization correct? And if it isn’t, then how do we deal with those who use this categorization especially since it has reached the point of insults, boycotting and warnings between the two, may Allaah reward you?
Your question is of two parts:
One in dealing with people, and the other in the categorization of people. And the issue of dealing with people requires a detailed lecture and this is why we will have a separate lecture on it, Barak Allaahu feekum.
As for this categorization, then until this day I do not know its origin: ‘a clear and an unclear Salafee’, not at all! What I do know is that one is either ‘a Salafee’ or ‘not a Salafee’. One is either clear in his Manhaj, his Manhaj is Saleem (sound), so he is called ‘a Salafee’. And he may have some leniency in him in some issues, he may be lenient in some issues for a benefit that he sees, and this leniency of his may lead him to mix with people who we are not pleased with. But this does not take him out of Salafeeyah, is this understood, Barak Allaahu feekum.
This is what I know; I do not know anything such as clear and unclear Salafees. People according to my knowledge are of two categories; one who is a Salafee and one who is not a Salafee and a Salafee is one who adheres to the Sunnah.

يا فضيلة الشيخ، أحسن الله إليكم وبارك فيكم، هناك مسالة أرجو التوضيح والبيان فيها حتى تكون واضحة كالشمس في السماء. هناك جماعة من الإخوة السلفيين يقسمون السلفيين إلى قسمين: سلفي واضح و سلفي غير واضح، لعدة أسباب. هل هذا التقسيم صحيح؟ وان كان غير صحيح كيف معاملتنا مع هؤلاء وقد وصل الأمر إلى الشتم والتحذير والهجر بينهما، جزاكم الله خيراً؟ |
سؤالك ذو شعبتين: شعبة في التعامل، وشعبة في التقسيم. والتعامل هذا يستدعى منا بارك الله فيكم وقفات كثيرة، ولهذا سيكون فيها محاضرة إن شاء الله تعالى بحول الله وقوته.
أما التقسيم: فانا لا اعلم حتى الساعة يعنى مستند هذا التقسيم: سلفي واضح وسلفي غير واضح، أبداً. وإنما الذي اعلمه يقال: سلفي أو غير سلفي. فالرجل إما انه واضح المنهج، منهجه سليم، فيقال هذا سلفي، وقد يكون عنده لين في بعض الأمور لمصلحة رآها، وقد يكون لينه هذا جعله يخالط أناساً غير مرضيين عندنا لكن لا يخرجه ذلك من السلفية، أفهمتم بارك الله فيكم؟ هذا الذي اعرفه، لا اعرف سلفياً واضحا ً أو سلفياً غير واضح |
