Shaykh Sa`d ibn `Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Hussayn said:
"Rather, the souls of the Hizbees or the Harakiyoon were inclined to him in hopes that they would make him join the ranks of those who revolt against the Jamaa`ah of the Muslims and their ruler, and he almost inclined to them a little"

Shaykh Khaalid ar-Raddaadee said:
"Indeed, the website "Madeenah.com" is from amongst the beneficial and distinguished Salafi sites. I have been aware of this site since the time it was an idea proposed by some Salafi students of knowledge from the West who were students at the Islaamic University of Madeenah."

How was the Hajj performed, before Al-Islaam?
The Hajj was from the well known customary actions of worship, which was performed before Al-Islaam. This action of worship however, has not changed except in a few areas. Like for example, the people of Makkah did not perform the standing of 'Arafah except in Muzdilifah (as the Hadith of Jaabir indicates). Likewise they used to depart from 'Arafah before the setting of the sun and did not leave Muzdilifah except after the sun had risen.
So the Prophet of Allaah-Sallaahu 'Alaihee Wasallam-differed from them in these actions. So he performed the standing of 'Arafah and did not depart from it up until after the sun had set. And he left Muzdilifah at first light and before the rising of the sun.
So he -Sallaahu 'Alaihee Wasallam- explained to the people the rites of Hajj and the people gained a good and complete understanding of this act of worship. As he -Sallaahu 'Alaihee Wasallam- used to say:
"Take from me your rites of Hajj."
So the people studied the Hajj and those who came after them, took this (knowledge of Hajj) from the Salaf and passed it on. Up until it was explained and made clear to the people and all praise is due To Allaah.
Along with this, even though one may find differences of opinion between the people of knowledge (regarding the Hajj), the scholar who is correct in his Ijtihaad (judgement) will get two rewards and the one who falls into error will get one reward.
