All praise is due to Allah, Lord of creation, and may the Salaat and Salaam be upon the best of His creation; Muhammad, his family and companions. To proceed: Some of the brothers requested that I have a look at Madeenah.com, a website administrated by some of the western students [from the Islamic University of Madeenah]. I found that they have included in their website lectures by the well-known Salafi scholars, and subjects that concern the Salafees. I pray to Allah that they continue in this endeavor and that they do not change. From amongst what distinguishes them particularly since their target audience is English speakers is that they present the material in both Arabic and English, so that they are not accused of twisting the meanings of the translated texts, so may Allah reward them with good. I advise them to work sincerely for the Face of Allah, purify their actions in propagating the Sincere Religion upon the methodology of the Salaf us-Saleh, and continue working in the Name of Allah. One of the greatest calamities faced by Salafees working in the field of da'wah in western countries is the presence of people - and Allah knows best what their intentions are - who take Salafees working in the field of dawah as targets of their criticism, harshness and warnings due to some slip ups. I have experience in dealing with them and have found that they are deceitful and conniving in the questions they ask; they twist the statements of others and present them to the scholars of Saudi Arabia (may Allah preserve them). It is known that the one being questioned could be deceived by the speech of the questioner, whereby he responds with a fatwa based on what is apparent [from the question]. The Prophet (??? ???? ???? ????) informed us of this when he said about himself; You present your cases to me and some of you may be more eloquent and persuasive in presenting their argument. So, if I give someone's right to another (wrongly) because of the latter's (tricky) presentation of the case, I am really only giving him a piece of fire; so he should not take it. They may find some statements from some of our noble scholars regarding certain individuals, or some acts that have been attributed to some Salafi brothers from the West; they then spread/broadcast these statements amongst the people via their websites as if Allah created them in order to chase the people of the West away from the Salafees. Do they have a hidden agenda in collaboration with the countries that they live in??? Because the non-Muslim western [governments/powers] are actually more knowledgeable about the Sincere Religion [i.e. Islam] than a lot of the Muslims, so it pleases them to support those who split the the Salafees. [So if they don't have a hidden agenda,] then what is it exactly??? Allah knows best. So I advise these individuals to fear Allah concerning their brothers, and not to track the mistakes that some of those who work for the Salafi Manhaj may have made years ago and then retracted from, or made unintentionally, or perhaps they deem there to be legislated benefits in certain affairs that the major scholars have permitted in their verdicts, such as the Imaams Abdul Azeez ibn Baaz, al-Albaanee and ibn Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy upon them all). But these people do not take the integrity or sanctity of the speech of the scholars into consideration. I love our noble Mashayikh who these corrupted individuals attach themselves to, and whose speech they take advantage of and extract whatever they need. I pray that Allah grants these Mashayikh success, and I hope that they (may Allah honor them) - and this is known to me by experience - refrain from giving those corrupt individuals statements that are then used as a sharp weapon against the Salafees, making them a laughing stock and target for mockery amongst other groups and sects that are in opposition to the Salafi Mahhaj. And Allah is the One Who guides to the correct path. Written by:
