This of course, is based on the consensus of the people of knowledge, and the reality that it is a source of legal authority by itself upon the entire Muslim nation.
Sometimes we hear some students of knowledge criticising the scholars, saying that they are silent when certain events, tragedies and catastrophes occur.
It contains valuable advice and steadfast directions, especially since it rectifies some of the problems and the deficiencies that they have with them these days in methodology…
“Indeed the Boolaaq print of the explanation (of Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, namely) “Fat.h al-Baaree” is the best of prints”.
So the point being that these Forty [Hadeeth of Imaam an-Nawawee] are indeed very great, and it is befitting upon every muslim that he offers them great care and attention…

Knowledge itself is a difficult undertaking that requires great effort. We know the older a person grows, the larger he becomes physically, & the weaker he becomes intellectually.
The first step towards knowledge is the intention, then it is listening, then it is understanding, then it is memorising, then it is acting, then it is spreading.
Noble Shaykh, I have a desire to seek Islaamic knowledge; I hope you can explain the correct manner of seeking Islaamic knowledge, and [may] Allaah grant you good?
What is your advice – O Shaykh – to the one who burns these books, namely: “al-Qutbiyyah” and “Madaarik an-Nathar” [and attacks their authors]?
