Lying is worse than innovation my brothers, and a liar according to Ahlus Sunnah is more evil than a Mubtadi` (a person who does Bid`ah).
One narrates from the Mubtadi`, they (Ahlus Sunnah) narrated from the Qadareeyah, they narrated from the Murji`ah and narrated from other than them from the people of innovation as long as their bid`ah did not fall into Kufr and he wasn`t a liar. But if one ascribes himself to the people of the Sunnah and he is a liar then he is worse than the people of innovation.
And for this reason Ibn Adi put in his book "Al Kaamil" (which refers to a book written specifically about weak narrators) 29 chapters about Liars and one chapter referring to the people of bid`ah. And Ahlus Sunnah accepted the narration of the people of innovation who were truthful and who did not call to their bid`ah. |
