Shaykh Saalih as-Suhaymee’s Recommendation for Madeenah.com

In the Name of Allaah, The All Compassionate, The All Merciful

All praise is for Allah, Lord of the Universe, and may His peace and blessings be upon our prophet Muhammad, his family, and companions

To proceed:

After looking at the website “”Madeenah.com””, which is supervised by the esteemed Shaykh Khalid ibn Qasim ar-Raddadee (may Allah preserve him) and administrated by a group of Islamic University of Madeenah graduates from the West, I have found it to be a valuable, beneficial, salafi website which focuses on the translation and dissemination of statements and fatwas by the Imams of Ahlus Sunnah and Salafi Mashaayikh. It aims to clarify the correct methodology while avoiding extremism, useless gossip, and distortion of the scholars’ statements to make them mean what they did not intend.

Hence, I advise those responsible for the website to continue working on it and persist in their efforts. I also encourage my sons from among the students of knowledge who have the ability to translate to cooperate with this website and provide it with beneficial translations, especially those related to issues that concern westerners and deal with their problems.

With that in mind, I advise the western students to be diligent in seeking beneficial knowledge and spreading the message of Islam, and to avoid useless gossip and anything that occupies their time with other than beneficial knowledge and righteous actions. Indeed, their lands are in dire need of du’aat who are firmly grounded in knowledge; those whose lives are a clear representation of Islam and inspire others to embrace Islam.

In conclusion, I ask Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, to bring benefit by way of this website, reward those responsible for it with the best reward, bless their efforts, and make both our actions as well as theirs sincerely for Him.

May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our prophet Muhammad, his family, and companions.
