Question: What is your opinion regarding a person who says: ‘our responsibility and obligation is to strive and try our best to establish the Islamic Khilaafah.’ Is this advice correct or wrong?
Response: We have not been made responsible for calling to [the establishment of] the Khilaafah. We have only been responsible for calling to Tawheed (to single out Allaah in Worship).
Whoever calls to the Khilafah has actually left calling to what Allaah has obligated upon him, and instead he calls to what his Hizb (group) have obligated upon him.
Allaah, the most High, said
{Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented?} [42:21]
So the Khilaafah is from Allaah, the Glorified and most High, He is the one who decrees it for the person from Ahl Al-Bayt – the family of the Messenger of Allaah. He is the promised Mahdi, who will come in preparation for the descending of ‘Eesa (alayhi assalaam).
Yes, this is the Khilaafah which will be established.
Thus, the Khilaafah will occur when Allah decrees it, not when we want it.
To say that people are “working towards the Khilaafah” – then this type of objective is falsehood. This is a false intention – it is not permitted. In reality, they have corrupted the [true] Da’wah due to them intending a political Da’wah, they only intend the chair [to authority].
We belong to Allaah, and to Him we shall return.
هل نحن مكلفون بالخلافة

السؤال: ما رأي فضيلتكم فيمن يقول نحن الآن الواجب أن نسعى، وأن نكرس جهودنا لإقامة خلافة راشدة، فهل هذا التوجيه صحيح، أم أنه خاطئ؟
الجواب: نعم يجوز لنا أن نطعم الكافر المعاهد والأسير لسنا مكلفين بالدعوة إلى خلافة وإنما كلفنا بالدعوة إلى التوحيد
ومن دعا إلى خلافة فقد ترك ماكلفه الله به وأتى بما كلفه به أهل حزبه والله تعالى يقول :
{أم لهم شركاء شرعوا لهم من الدين مالم يأذن به الله}
فالخلافة لله سبحانه وتعالى هو الذي يقدرها عندما يقوم ذلك القائم من أهل بيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو المهدي الذي يوطئ لنزول عيسى عليه السلام نعم هذه الخلافة التي ستكون . إذن فهي تكون متى شاء الله لها لا متى شئنا والقول بأنهم يعملون من أجلها فالعمل من أجلها عمل باطل
و هذه نية باطلة لايجوز لهم أن يزاولوا الدعوة من أجلها فإنهم قصدوا بدعوتهم هذه السياسة فقط وقصدوا الوصول إلى الكراسي.
